"Mexican Messi" Luka Romero breaks record

Like any newly emerging player would get hyped, Luka Romero - a Mexican prodigy who plays for Mallorca has started gaining media hype even during lockdown. 

Romero was called up to train with the main squad of Mallorca by manager Vicente Moreno on 5 June 2020. Eleven days later, he was included in the list for a La Liga match against Villarreal CF after being given special authorization at the age of 15 years and 221 days, but remained an unused substitute in the 0–1 away loss.

Romero will go into the history books after the 15-year-old who plays as a midfielder became the youngest player to feature in a LaLiga match against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

Luka Romero is highly rated both home and abroad and the highly-rated star came on in the 83rd minute during his club's 2-0 loss to current La liga leaders - Real Madrid. However it will be a moment he remembers forever as he played the final ten minutes of the game adding valuable contribution to his team especially at that young age.
